We’re all very aware of our stress filled lives. What we’re often not aware of, is that most stress triggers can be mastered, or at least managed once we become aware of them. If we learn to take responsibility for our own reaction to any stress trigger, we can learn to change our instantaneous stress response to one of witnessing or observing, and then to change the gage on our stress thermometers to a higher or lower value.
Chronic stress doubles your risk to die from a heart attack. Stress is associated with all our chronic diseases or health challenges (such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes mellitus, cancer, autoimmune diseases like psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis; also eczema, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic fatigue, asthma, endometriosis, male & female reproductive challenges, menopause, etc.), either as cause, exacerbating factor, or both.
This practical course provides delegates with relevant knowledge, practical experience and understanding concerning stress and its management. Delegates are equipped with both information and experience, to become adept at managing their own stress, and also to assist their fellow human beings, whether colleagues (i.e. in the workplace), family or communities. Delegates are not required to have previous professional training, but professionals such as physiotherapists, dieticians, occupational health professionals, social workers, psychologists, nursing scientists and human resource practitioners will also benefit from this course.
