Dr Arien van der Merwe, author of ‘Managing Diabetes and Related Health Challenges’, just released by Human & Rousseau and available at most bookshops, is also an internationally renowned holistic health expert and medical doctor. She has close to twenty years specialising in workplace wellness, longevity, body-mind and integrative, natural medicine and stress management.
In order to live her life purpose of informing and educating the public on how to live a healthy life, Dr Arien has become a well-known and experienced public speaker, facilitator and trainer. She is an internationally published author of 22 books and training manuals on health and wellness.
Dr Arien recently developed the Timeless DNA™ Program (that includes courses and online programs) to enlighten and educate people on how to become a healthy, happy 120 years of age (our natural lifespan!) embodying the concept of beauty within, beauty without and beauty of being.
Dr Arien also writes and regularly consults, for many magazines and newspapers in South Africa. She has featured on numerous national radio and TV shows.
Dr van der Merwe is registered with the Natural Healers Association (NHA) as Trainer and Ethno-Medicine Practitioner in the field of Traditional Health Care, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health (FRSPH – London) and Member of the International Stress Management Association (MISMA), UK branch.
Dr van der Merwe is the Director of Health Stress Management Gauteng (Pty) (Ltd) and Co-owner (with Anri van der Merwe) of Ariani Health Solutions, based in Faerie Glen, Pretoria.

Anri van der Merwe – BSc (Genetics, Psychology & Physiology), BSc Hons (Human Physiology), Personal Fitness Trainer – is a Highly Qualified Fitness Specialist and the Business Manager at the Healthy Living Space. Anri developed PlayFunFitness™ at the Healthy Living Space to incorporate fun and effective exercises for optimal fat loss, strength and muscle toning. Exercise is a necessity for a healthy lifestyle and needs to become a habit for everyone. Anri takes fitness level into account when working with clients. Anri facilitates small group classes and individual classes. If you are a member at a gym or prefer to gym from home she can give you a personalised program suited for your need. Anri is also available for fitness consultations and fitness tests.
